Application: Useful for studying the clotting cascade or for screening Factor VIIa inhibitors. Use in equimolar amounts as a cofactor with Factor VIIa (Prod. No. BML-SE438) when using a peptide (such as BML-P199) or Factor X as a Factor VIIa substrate.

Recombinant full-length human tissue factor, lipidated in phosphatidylcholine/phosphatidylserine vesicles. Tissue factor (CD142) is the initiator of the extrinsic clotting pathway, but also plays roles in numerous processes, such as tumor progression, inflammation, and cell adhesion. In the clotting pathway, Factor VIIa only has full activity when complexed with lipidated tissue factor.
