Cytochrome P-450 2D4 (CYP2D4; also known as debrisoquine-4-hydroxylase), is found at very low levels in normal rat brain, but adminitration of clozapine (Cat. # D-107) induces high levels in many areas including the substantia nigra pars compacta, ventral tegmental area, in the olfactory bulb and in granule and Purkinje cells in the cerebellum.
