英国Farfield公司为DPI大分子相互作用分析系统（双偏极化干涉系统）提供多种表面修饰的传感芯片供用户选择，同时还根据用户研究需要定制特制表面修饰的传感芯片，其中最常用的芯片为Unmodified传感芯片，用户可以根据自己的需要自行进行表面化学修饰，DPI的芯片类型基本分为生物物理学应用芯片和表面分析应用芯片，DPI的标准芯片类别如下：
