Thorlabs的渐变折射率(GRIN)跳线集成了纤芯Ø62.5μm/包层Ø125μm或纤芯Ø50µm/ 包层Ø125µm的GRIN光纤。根据带宽,这些光纤归类为光学多模(OM)光纤。更多详情,请看光纤规格标签。与阶跃折射率光纤相比,渐变折射率光纤的模态色散较低,非常适合通信应用。而且,它的弯曲损耗也要明显小于传统的多模光纤。纤芯和包层之间的渐变折射率决定了给定波长下的可用带宽。
每根跳线包含两个保护帽,以防插芯端收到灰尘污染和其他损害。适合FC/PC终端的其他CAPF塑料光纤帽和CAPFM金属螺纹光纤帽单独提供。
