For NIRQuest Spectrometers, we offer four different InGaAs linear array detectors: two 512-element arrays and two 256-element arrays. The Hamamatsu detectors used in the NIRQuest Optical Bench are InGaAs photodiode linear arrays with each pixel connected to a charged amplifier array consisting of CMOS transistors. These detectors deliver high sensitivity and stable operation in the near infrared. The detectors all include onboard thermoelectric cooling. A thermistor monitors the array's temperature and a thermoelectric device can cool the arrays to 35 °C below ambient, keeping the array stable to within ±0.1 °C. In addition, you can set and monitor the detector's temperature via software. The detector is included with the price of the NIR Spectrometer.
