粉末或者固体的药物，或者无法用导管进行投药的情况下，使用胶囊就可以轻松投药；
对应一些有臭味或者苦味的药剂，能够简单投药，减轻动物的痛苦；
个别制剂类药物的投药相当便利；
为了能够长时间持续的发挥药效，胶囊可以辅助充分吸收；
