To demonstrate the benefits of Higher Energy Collision Induced Dissociation (HCD) applying Data Dependent™ methods under nano LC time scales.

Even on an LC time scale, HCD generates excellent fragmentation results with respect to both low mass range information and overall fragmentation yield. This is especially pronounced in MS/MS experiments of phosphopeptides which typically fragment significantly more using HCD than CID. HCD spectra provide fragment information over the entire mass range of the peptide.
