Description
DNA Polymerase I, a template-dependent DNA polymerase, catalyzes 5'=>3' synthesis of DNA. The enzyme also exhibits 3'=>5' exonuclease (proofreading) activity, 5'=>3' exonuclease activity and ribonuclease H activity.
