ACO2 Antibody(N-term)
Cat.#: T0501
Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Clone ID: polyclonal
Swiss Prot: Q99798
Mol Weight: 85kDa
Size: 100ug
Description
ACO2 belongs to the aconitase/IPM isomerase family. It is an enzyme that catalyzes the interconversion of citrate to isocitrate via cis-aconitate in the second step of the TCA cycle. This protein is encoded in the nucleus and functions in the mitochondrion. It was found to be one of the mitochondrial matrix proteins that are preferentially degraded by the serine protease 15(PRSS15), also known as Lon protease, after oxidative modification.

Specificity
This ACO2 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 130~160 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human Aconitase.
Storage Condition and Buffer
Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 6 months. For long term storage store at -20°C. Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein G column, eluted with high and low pH buffers and neutralized immediately, followed by dialysis against PBS.
