PLUS™ Reagent is used in conjunction with transfection reagents, such as Lipofectamine™, to enhance transfection in adherent cell lines. Some customers find when using Plus™ Reagent that less optimization of DNA concentration is needed to achieve high transfection performance. The addition of Plus™ Reagent may also reduce the quantities of DNA and lipid required by approximately one-half compared to lipid alone. PLUS™ Reagent was specifically designed to expand the array of transfectable cell types (1).
