I got my PhD in Molecular Biology from the University of Southern California in 1999 and did a few years of postdoc work there. My work was mostly related to human and mouse genetics. I developed some very sensitive methods to study genetic recombination and extremely rare mutations.I joined Fluidigm Corporation in 2006 and have been mainly working on different applications of the digital array including absolute quantitation, copy numbervariation (CNV), and rare mutation detection. Now I am a senior application development scientist in the R&D department.
