据英国食品标准局消息，7月19日英国食品标准局局长Heather Hancock公布了英格兰、威尔士与北爱尔兰食品条例修订计划。文件名称为：监管我们的未来-食品条例为何要修订以及怎样修订。该文件列出了食品条例修订提案。

　　 Heather Hancock表示，伴随着英国脱欧进程，来年的两项工作重点之一是改进食品监管方式。目前迫切需要革新食品监管体系，需要改革监管方式以与国际食品经济节奏相同步，这体现在：我们吃什么、在哪里消费、如何送达我们手中几个方面。英国需要一个现代、灵活以及快速反应的食品监管系统。
