This International Standard specifies the characteristics of slotted spring-type straight pins, made of steel or of austenitic or martensitic stainless steel, heavy duty, with nominal diameter, d1, from 1 mm to 50 mm inclusive. NOTE The nominal diameters have been chosen in such a way that pins can be fitted one into the other or combined with pins, light duty, in accordance with ISO 13337.
Spring-type straight pins -- Slotted, heavy duty
Pins and studs for powder actuated tool
This International Standard specifies the characteristics of half-length centre grooved pins made of steel or austenitic stainless steel which have three equally spaced grooves impressed longitudinally on their exterior surface, with nominal diameter, d1, from 1,5 mm to 25 mm inclusive. The displaced material to each side of the grooves forming an expanded diameter, d2, which is larger than the nominal diameter d1 will cause a non-positive locking fit when these grooved pins are forced into a drilled hole equal to the nominal diameter d1 (see clause 4).
Grooved pins -- Half-length centre grooved
This International Standard specifies the characteristics of coiled heavy duty spring-type straight pins made of steel or of austenitic or martensitic stainless steel, with a nominal diameter, d1, from 1,5 mm to 20 mm inclusive
Spring-type straight pins -- Coiled, heavy duty
This International Standard specifies the characteristics of parallel pins with internal thread of unhardened steel and austenitic stainless steel with nominal diameters d1 from 6 mm to 50 mm inclusive.
Parallel pins with internal thread, of unhardened steel and austenitic stainless steel
This International Standard specifies the characteristics of unhardened taper pins with internal thread, and metric dimensions and nominal diameters, dJ, from 6 to 50 mm inclusive.
Taper pins with internal thread, unhardened
This International Standard specifies the characteristics of unhardened taper pins with external thread, and metric dimensions and nominal diameters, dI, from 5 to 50 mm inclusive.
Taper pins with external thread, unhardened
This International Standard specifies the characteristics of parallel pins of unhardened steel and austenitic stainless steel, with nominal diameters d from 0,6 mm to 50 mm inclusive
Parallel pins, of unhardened steel and austenitic stainless steel
This International Standard specifies the characteristics of half-length taper grooved pins made of steel or austenitic stainless steel which have three equally spaced grooves impressed longitudinally on their exterior surface, with nominal diameter, d1, from 1,5 mm to 25 mm inclusive. The displaced material to each side of the grooves forming an expanded diameter, d2, which is larger than the nominal diameter d1 will cause a non-positive locking fit when these grooved pins are forced into a drilled hole equal to the nominal diameter d1 (see clause 4).
Grooved pins -- Half-length taper grooved
This International Standard specifies the characteristics of round head grooved pins which have three equally spaced grooves impressed longitudinally on their exterior surface, with nominal diameter, d1, from 1,4 mm to 20 mm inclusive. The displaced material to each side of the grooves forming an expanded diameter, d2, which is larger than the nominal diameter d1 will cause a non-positive locking fit when these grooved pins are forced into a drilled hole equal to the nominal diameter d1 (see clause 4).
Grooved pins with round head
This International Standard specifies the characteristics of half-length reverse taper grooved pins made of steel or austenitic stainless steel which have three equally spaced grooves impressed longitudinally on their exterior surface, with nominal diameter, d1, from 1,5 mm to 25 mm inclusive. The displaced material to each side of the grooves forming an expanded diameter d2 which is larger than the nominal diameter d1 will cause a non-positive locking fit when these grooved pins are forced into a drilled hole equal to the nominal diameter d1 (see clause 4).
Grooved pins -- Half-length reverse-taper grooved
This International Standard specifies the characteristics of coiled, standard duty spring-type straight pins made of steel or of austenitic or martensitic stainless steel, with a nominal diameter, d1, from 0,8 mm to 20 mm inclusive
Spring-type straight pins -- Coiled, standard duty
This International Standard specifies the characteristics of full-length parallel grooved pins, made of steel or austenitic stainless steel, with pilot which have three equally spaced grooves impressed longitudinally on their exterior surface and a pilot to facilitate insertion, with nominal diameter, d1, from 1,5 mm to 25 mm inclusive. The displaced material to each side of the grooves forming an expanded diameter d2 which is larger than the nominal diameter d1 will cause a non-positive locking fit when these grooved pins are forced into a drilled hole equal to the nominal diameter d1 (see clause 4).
Grooved pins -- Full-length parallel grooved, with pilot
This International Standard specifies the characteristics of full-length parallel grooved pins made of steel or austenitic stainless steel with chamfer which have three equally spaced grooves impressed longitudinally on their exterior surface and a pilot to facilitate insertion, with nominal diameter, d1, from 1,5 mm to 25 mm inclusive. The displaced material to each side of the grooves forming an expanded diameter d2 which is larger than the nominal diameter d1 will cause a non-positive locking fit when these grooved pins are forced into a drilled hole equal to the nominal diameter d1 (see clause 4).
Grooved pins -- Full-length parallel grooved, with chamfer
This International Standard specifies the characteristics of full-length taper grooved pins made of steel or austenitic stainless steel which have three equally spaced grooves impressed longitudinally on their exterior surface, with nominal diameter, d1, from 1,5 mm to 25 mm inclusive. The displaced material to each side of the grooves forming an expanded diameter, d2, which is larger than the nominal diameter d1 will cause a non-positive locking fit when these grooved pins are forced into a drilled hole equal to the nominal diameter d1 (see clause 4).
