1   Scope This part of ISO 13584 specifies the principles to be used for defining characterization classes of parts and properties of parts which provide for characterizing a part independently of any particular supplier -defined identification. 1   Scope This document specifies a set of key performance indicators in production planning, which allow comparison and monitoring of the production planning process in a standardized framework. As a first step, the utilization of the KPIs is elaborated in order to organize the indicators in a multi-level system taking different ranges of the planning process into account. This development of a multi-level system represents the core of this document. The scope of the planning processes discussed in this document is limited to production planning for products in series production. Only tasks carried out within the production planning process are considered in this approach. IEC 61987-31:2022 provides a characterization for the integration of infrastructure devices in the Common Data Dictionary (CDD); generic structures in conformance with IEC 61987-10 for Operating Lists of Properties (OLOPs) and Device Lists of Properties (DLOPs) of infrastructure devices. The generic structures for the OLOP and DLOP contain the most important blocks for infrastructure devices. Blocks pertaining to a specific equipment type will be described in the corresponding part of the IEC 61987 series. Similarly, equipment properties are not part of this part of IEC 61987. For instance, the OLOP and DLOP for I/O-modules are to be found in IEC 61987-32.
