What is BS 669-1 - Specifications for gas burning appliances about? Gas burning appliances are popular as they are convenient and provide on-demand comfort. BS 669-1 specifies requirements for strip-wound flexible hoses, and end fittings and sockets for use with domestic appliances (including cookers).
