This European Standard specifies test methods for the performance characterization of stores which are intended for use in small custom built systems as specified in prCEN/TS 12977-1. Stores tested according to this document are commonly used in solar hot water systems. However, also the thermal performance of all other thermal stores with water as storage medium can be assessed according to the test methods specified in this document. The document applies to stores with a nominal volume between 50 l and 3 000 l. This document does not apply to combistores. Performance test methods for solar combistores are specified in prCEN/TS 12977-4.

This International Standard lays down requirements for the design qualification and type approval of terrestrial, thin-film photovoltaic modules suitable for long-term operation in general open-air climates as defined in IEC 60721-2-1. This standard is intended to apply to all terrestrial flat plate module materials not covered by IEC 61215. The test sequence is derived from IEC 61215 for the design qualification and type approval of terrestrial crystalline silicon PV modules. However, it no longer relies on meeting a plus/minus criterion before and after each test, but rather on meeting a specified percentage of the rated minimum power after all of the tests have been completed and the modules have been lightsoaked. This eliminates the technology-specific preconditioning necessary to accurately measure the changes caused by the test. This standard does not apply to modules used with concentrators. The object of this test sequence is to determine the electrical and thermal characteristics of the module and to show, as far as possible within reasonable constraints of cost and time, that the module is capable of withstanding prolonged exposure in climates described in the scope. The actual life expectancy of modules so qualified will depend on their design, their environment and the conditions under which they are operated.

Scope and object This International Standard defines the minimal information and documentation required to be handed over to a customer following the installation of a grid connected PV system. This standard also describes the minimum commissioning tests@ inspection criteria and documentation expected to verify the safe installation and correct operation of the system. The document can also be used for periodic retesting. This standard is written for grid connected PV systems only and not for AC module systems or systems that utilize energy storage (e.g. batteries) or hybrid systems. NOTE It is expected that additional information and commissioning tests will be required in some circumstances@ e.g. for large commercial installations. This standard is for use by system designers and installers of grid connected solar PV systems as a template to provide effective documentation to a customer. By detailing the expected minimum commissioning tests and inspection criteria@ it is also intended to assist in the verification / inspection of a grid connected PV system after installation and for subsequent re-inspection@ maintenance or modifications.

This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies stand-alone power conditioners of constant a.c. output voltage and constant output frequency, stand-alone power conditioner of constant d.c. output voltage and utility-connected power conditioner from among the power conditioners for photovoltaic power generating-system I hereafter referred to as "power conditioners") complying with the items stated below. As regards power conditioners to which an accumulator device is connected, only the ones which connect the accumulator device on input side are the object. Utility interaction, protective function and device among the components of utility-connected power conditioner are excluded. Conditioner having isolated operation function are included in utility connected power conditioners.
