1.0.1本技术条件适用于热油炉的制造、组装、试验和验收。如设计对热油炉另有特殊要求时，应在设计文件中提出另外要求的技术条件。 1.0.2本技术条件适用于一般的立式圆筒形管式热油炉和方箱形管式热油炉。被加热的工作介质为液相导热油。 1.0.3本技术条件适用于热油炉的燃料有：气体燃料、液体燃料和固体燃料。不适用于用电及其它能源加热的热油炉。 1.0.4本技术条件适用于热油炉供热能力为232kW～O.6×10kW(20×10^(4)～500×10^(4)kcal/h)；导热油的使用温度不大于350℃；工作压力不大于1.6MPa。 1.0.5热油炉的制造厂，必须是根据化工部一九九三年颁发的HG27004《有机载热体加热炉安全技术规程》的要求，必须为取得I类压力容器制造许可证，或取得D级蒸汽锅炉制造许可证，以及经化工部批准的制造厂。 1.0.6热油炉的制造厂除遵守本技术条件之外，必须严格按照设计图纸和技术要求制造加工；制造单位对原设计的任何修改及材料的代用都必须征得原设计单位的同意，并取得证明文件。对所修改的部分应做详细的记录。
