This document specifies two accelerated corrosion-test procedures, Methods A and B, for the comparative evaluation of metallic materials with or without permanent corrosion protection or temporary corrosion protection in outdoor salt and/or acid rain environments. It also specifies the apparatus used. The two tests involve cyclic exposure of the specimens to acidified salt spray, “dry” and “wet” conditions. The particular advantages of the two tests over conventional accelerated tests, such as the neutral salt spray (NSS) test as specified in ISO 9227 lie in their better ability to reproduce the corrosion that occurs in outdoor salt and/or acid rain environments. They are also useful for evaluating cosmetic corrosion. Method A is applicable to — metals and their alloys, — metallic coatings (cathodic), — anodic oxide coatings, and — organic coatings on metallic materials. Method B is applicable to — steel coated with anodic coatings, and — steel coated with anodic coatings covered with conversion coatings.

在本标准编写过程中,参考了国家标准《GB/T 10123-2001 金属和合金的腐蚀 基本术语和定义》、《GB/T 24196-2009 金属和合金的腐蚀 电化学试验方法 恒电位和动电位极化测量导则》以及ASTM标准《ASTM G3-14 Standard Practice for Conventions Applicable to Electrochemical Measurements in Corrosion Testing》、《ASTM G5-14 Reference Test Method for Making Potentiodynamic Anodic Polarization Measurements》、《ASTM G31-72  Standard Practice for Lab Immersion Corrosion Testing of Metals》和《ASTM G61-86 Standard Test Method for Conducting Cyclic Potentiodynamic Polarization Measurements for Localized Corrosion Susceptibility of Iron-, Nickel-, or Cobalt-Based Alloys》中关于电化学试验的相关规定,同时也参考了中国科学院金属研究所编制的核用水堆材料在高温高压水中电化学试验方法的技术文件,并结合中国科学院金属研究所以及国外相关研究机构关于高温高压水电化学试验的实施经验而制定。具体技术内容说明如下。 (1) 由于高温电化学试验的特殊性,工作电极样品不进行任何形式的封装,裸金属表面直接参与试验,须精确控制样品尺寸及其表面粗糙度。 (2) 为保证电化学试验数据的有效性,一般每个试验点需重复3次。 (3) 为方便试样在高温高压水环境中电化学信号的引出,推荐采用与样品材质相同或近似的金属丝作导线,表面热缩聚四氟乙烯管绝缘,通过点焊的方式与试样连接,推荐点焊位置为试样侧面。 (4) 为实时控制、监测高温高压水溶液的水化学参数,高温高压水中电化学试验装置必须配置循环水回路,主要包括储水罐、循环泵、高压泵、换热器、预热器、冷凝器、背压阀、离子交换树脂等。储水罐的出水口通过管路连接循环泵,循环泵的出口分别通过管路连接水化学监测回路和高温高压水回路。水化学监测回路上有电导率探头、溶解氧探头、pH探头、离子交换树脂等,之后返回储水罐。高温高压水回路设有高压泵、换热器、试样台、高压釜、冷凝器、背压阀等,管路的出口连接储水罐。 (5) 为保证能够模拟典型轻水堆核电站服役循环水环境,规定高压釜能够在280-325℃、8-16.5 MPa高温高压水环境下,保持稳定密封并能长期运行。 (6) 为保证试验环境的关键水化学参数,需实时精确监测、控制循环水中的溶解氧含量。 (7) 为保证外置式参比电极工作稳定性,应定期更换其中的电解质溶液并校正其电位,推荐更换周期为2周。 (8) 为保证高温高压水中电化学试验的成功率,应在装样完成加压完毕后进行绝缘性检测,确保样品与高压釜体绝缘。 (9) 为保证高压釜内高温高压水的水化学参数,规定循环水流速应能够保证高压釜内水每小时更换1次。 (10) 为确保顺利、安全、有效开展高温高压水中电化学试验,规定操作人员应严格按照操作规程开展试验。 (11) 为保证试验安全,规定高温高压水中电化学试验装置能够在出水温度过高时自动报警并关闭系统;在高压釜入口处安装爆破阀,使高压釜内压力由于故障升高时,进行爆破泄压;高压釜内温度过高时自动报警并关闭系统;高压釜、预热器、换热器等部件泄漏时,能够自动报警并关闭系统;冷却水断流时能够自动报警。 为保证试验装置的稳定性与可靠性,应按照相关规定定期对电化学工作站、高压釜热电偶、预热器热电偶、溶解氧探头、溶解氢探头、压力传感器等进行准确度校正。

5.1 Crude petroleum contains sulfur compounds, most of which are removed during refining. However, of the sulfur compounds remaining in the petroleum product, some can have a corroding action on various metals and this corrosivity is not necessarily related directly to the total sulfur content. The effect can vary according to the chemical types of sulfur compounds present. The copper strip corrosion test is designed to assess the relative degree of corrosivity of a petroleum product. 1.1 This test method covers the determination of the corrosiveness to copper of aviation gasoline, aviation turbine fuel, automotive gasoline, cleaners (Stoddard) solvent, kerosine, diesel fuel, distillate fuel oil, lubricating oil, and natural gasoline or other hydrocarbons having a vapor pressure no greater than 1248201;kPa (188201;psi) at 37.88201;°C. (Warning—Some products, particularly natural gasoline, may have a much higher vapor pressure than would normally be characteristic of automotive or aviation gasolines. For this reason, exercise extreme caution to ensure that the pressure vessel used in this test method and containing natural gasoline or other products of high vapor pressure is not placed in the 1008201;°C (2128201;°F) bath. Samples having vapor pressures in excess of 1248201;kPa (188201;psi) may develop sufficient pressures at 1008201;°C to rupture the pressure vessel. For any sample having a vapor pressure above 1248201;kPa (188201;psi), use Test Method D1838.) 1.2 The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as standard. This document specifies the determination of the intergranular corrosion susceptibility of low-Cr [less than 16 % Cr, less than 0,3 % Ni, less than 0,3 % Ti and less than 0,3 % Nb, less than 0,3 % (Ti + Atomic weight ratio Nb)] ferritic stainless steels in the 0,5 % sulfuric acid/copper sulfate test. It also specifies the purposes which may be assigned to the test. The method is applicable to stainless steels supplied in the form of rolled sheets and welded tubes and intended for use in a mildly oxidizing acid medium. It is important to note that the result of the corrosion test is only strictly valid for the corrosive medium used in the test. It constitutes a basis for estimating the resistance to intergranular corrosion but cannot be used to check resistance to other forms of corrosion (general corrosion, pitting, stress corrosion, etc.). It is important for the user to adapt the specified corrosion test where steels are used. This test is, in no case, considered as an absolute criterion of the quality of the metal.

This International Standard provides guidelines for the use of four-point bend testing to evaluate the resistance of metals including carbon steel, low alloy steels, and corrosion resistant alloys (CRAs) to stress corrosion cracking. The method gives guidance on testing of both parent plate and welds and includes procedures for metals that have no distinct yield point in their stress-strain behaviour as well as metals with a distinct yield point. The emphasis in this International Standard is on the generic methodology of the four-point bend test. Service application will be varied and the relevant industry standard is to be consulted where appropriate.
