Lamp controlgear - Part 1: General and safety requirements (IEC 61347-1:2007, modified); German version EN 61347-1:2008
This International Standard applies to bayonet lampholders B15d and B22d for connection of lamps and semi-luminaires to a supply voltage of 250 V. This standard also covers lampholders which are integral with a luminaire or intended to be built into appliances. It covers the requirements for the lampholder only. For all other requirements, such as protection against electric shock in the area of the terminals, the requirements of the relevant appliance standard shall be observed and tested after building into the appropriate equipment, when that equipment is tested according to its own standard. Lampholders for use by luminaire manufacturers only are not for retail sale. NOTE Where lampholders are used in luminaires, their maximum operating temperatures are specified in IEC 60598-1. B15 denotes the cap/holder fit as defined by IEC 60061-1, sheet 7004-11 and IEC 60061-2, sheet 7005-16 with the corresponding gauges. B22 denotes the cap/holder fit as defined by IEC 60061-1, sheet 7004-10 and IEC 60061-2, sheet 7005-10 with the corresponding gauges.
Bayonet lampholders
This International Standard states the technical and dimensional requirements for lampholders for tubular fluorescent lamps and for starterholders, and the methods of test to be used in determining the safety and the fit of the lamps in the lampholders and the starters in the starterholders. This standard covers independent lampholders and lampholders for building-in, used with tubular fluorescent lamps provided with caps as listed in Annex A, and independent starterholders and starterholders for building-in, used with starters in accordance with IEC 60155, intended for use in a.c. circuits where the working voltage does not exceed 1 000 V r.m.s. This standard also covers lampholders for single-capped tubular fluorescent lamps integrated in an outer shell and dome similar to Edison screw lampholders (e.g. for G23 and G24 capped lamps). Such lampholders are tested in accordance with the following clauses and subclauses of IEC 60238: 8.4; 8.5; 8.6; 9.3; 10.7; 11; 12.2; 12.5; 12.6; 12.7; 13; 15.3; 15.4; 15.5 and 15.9. This standard also covers lampholders which are integral with a luminaire or intended to be built into appliances. It covers the requirements for the lampholder only. For all other requirements, such as protection against electric shock in the area of the terminals, the requirements of the relevant appliance standard are to be observed and tested after building into the appropriate equipment, when that equipment is tested according to its own standard. Lampholders for use by luminaire manufacturers only are not for retail sale. This standard also applies, as far as is reasonable, to lampholders and starterholders other than the types explicitly mentioned above and to lamp connectors. Where the term "holder" is used in the standard, both lampholders and starterholders are intended.
Lampholders for tubular fluorescent lamps and starterholders
This Standard specifies general requirements and tests for powertrack(PT)systems with a rated voltage not exceeding 277V a.c. single phase, or 480Va.c. two or three phase 50Hz/60Hz, with a rated curredt not exceeding 50A.
Lighting busways -- Particular safety requirements for power supply use
This Standard applies to connectors for building-in (including those used for interconnection between LED modules)of miscellaneous types to be used with PCB-based LED modules (hereafter referred to as "connectors for LED modules"). This Standard is to be used in conjunction with each relevant provision of JIS C8121-1.
Miscellaneous lampholders -- Part 2-2: Particular requirements -- Connectors for printed circuit board based LED-modules
Where the term “bi-pin lampholder” is used, lampholders for wedged caps are also intended.

Devices for the connection of luminaires for household and similar purposes - Part 1: General requirements (IEC 61995-1:2005, modified); German version EN 61995-1:2008
This standard applies to the inherent safety, to the operating values, operating times, and operating sequences where such are associated with equipment safety, and to the testing of thermal protectors used to protect ballasts for tubular lamps from overheating. This standard applies to thermal protectors for ballasts within the scope of IEC 61347-2-8. Thermal protectors covered by this standard may be suitable for ballasts for other discharge lamps such as ballasts under the scope of IEC 61347-2-9.
Automatic electrical controls for household and similar use — Part 2-3: Particular requirements for thermal protectors for ballasts for tubular fluorescent lamps
This translation has been made based on the Amendment to the origi- nal Japanese Industrial Standard revised by the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry through deliberations at the Japanese Industrial Standards Committee as the result of proposal for revision of Japanese Industrial Standard with the draft being attached, based on the provi- sion of Article 12 Clause 1 of the Industrial Standardization Law ap- plicable to the case of revision by the provision of Article 14. Consequently, JIS C 8302:1995 is partially replaced with this Amend- ment.
Edison screw lampholders (Amendment 1)
This standard covers the electrical and mechanical interchangeability of electrical devices mounted on or in luminaires, brackets, or remotely mounted on the support structure of the luminaire and that may draw power from the luminaire. These devices are used in conjunction with roadway and area lighting luminaires and may be mounted or plugged into the photo control receptacle. This standard does not cover such things as flag banners, flower containers, or decorative holiday/seasonal lights.
