The ITU Radiocommunication Assembly, considering that the duties and functions of the Radiocommunication Assembly, in preparing for World Radiocommunication Conferences (WRCs) are stated in Articles 13 of the ITU Constitution and 8 of the ITU Convention; that special arrangements are necessary for such preparations.
Conference Preparatory Meeting
The ITU Radiocommunication Assembly, recognizing the adoption by the Plenipotentiary Conference of Resolution 154 (Antalya, 2006) on the use of the six official languages of the Union on an equal footing; which instructed the Council and the General Secretariat on how to achieve the equal treatment of the six languages.
Coordination of vocabulary
The ITU Radiocommunication Assembly, bearing in mind Article 50 of the ITU Constitution, and considering that Goal 3 in Resolution 71 (Rev. Antalya,2006) of the Plenipotentiary Conference calls for widening the Union’s membership, extending participation and facilitating cooperation of an increasing number of administrations and organizations, as well as new actors, such as relevant WSIS stakeholders.
Liaison and collaboration with other relevant organizations in particular ISO and IEC
This Recommendation provides updated information on error-performance objectives for real digital fixed wireless links used in 27 500 km hypothetical reference paths and connections.

This Recommendation provides a high-level framework for conference management and control of audiographic and audiovisual terminals and Multipoint Control Units (MCUs). It encompasses Generic Conference Control (GCC) functions such as conference establishment and termination, managing the roster of nodes participating in a conference, managing the roster of Application Protocol Entities and Application Capabilities within a conference, registry services for use by Application Protocol Entities, coordination of conference conductorship, as well as other miscellaneous functions. This Recommendation is defined within the framework of [ITU-T T.120]. Included within this framework are companion [ITU-T T.122] and [ITU-T T.125], which define the multipoint delivery mechanism used in this Recommendation, and [ITU-T T.123], which specifies the Audiovisual Protocol Stacks for each of the communication networks supported.
