This Recommendation defines a multipoint videoconference system which enables three or more videoconference sites to intercommunicate simultaneously, provided that the codecs conform to Recommendations H.120 and H.130 (§ 1, Note).Note– Codecs conforming to § 2 of Recommendations H.120 and H.130 are in principle also applicable.
A MULTIPOINT INTERNATIONAL VIDEOCONFERENCE SYSTEM
This Recommendation describes some of the capabilities which are important to the user and which are commonly available on interfaces based on VDTs. It is not an exhaustive list of capabilities. The use of additional capabilities, not covered in these Recommendations, is not precluded. Not all of the capabilities described need be present on a given system. Graphics capabilities are for future study and are therefore not considered in detail in these Recommendations.
CAPABILITIES OF VISUAL DISPLAY TERMINALS
Experiments have shown that clicks or other impulsive noises which occur in telephone calls come from a number of sources, such as faulty construction of the switching equipment, defective earthing at exchanges and electromagnetic couplings in exchanges or on the line.

RESTORER, PULSE FORM TD-206( )/G
Covers the use of certain preferred sampling frequencies in applications where there is a need for interchange of high fidelity digital audio programs with a minimum of transcoding complexity. Applications where such interchange may occur include, but are not limited to, master tape recordings (audio alone, and audio with video), submaster tape recordings prepared for transfer to a consumer product format, studio signal processing, and the point-to-point transmission of broadcast signals over satellite or terrestrial networks. This standard does not cover sampling frequencies for narrow band audio applications, such as voice-quality transmission links, or processing devices in which both the input and output signals are in an analog format, even if such signals are ultimately used for interchange of program.

Covers zoom lenses, variable focal length lenses and single focal length lenses, used in either black-and-white or colour reproduction systems. These recommendations adopt the optical transfer function (OTF), or more specifically its modulus, the modulation transfer function (MTF), as the method of assessment and specification of image quality. Covers the performance of lenses as a complete optical unit but does not deal with the performance of individual component parts.
