This document applies to water meters intended for residential,commercial,light industrial and industrial use,and specifies the test parameters and the test methods for water meters,irrespective of the design technologies ,as specified in EN 14154-1-2005+A2,used to meter the actual volume of clean cold potable water or heated water,flowing through a fully charged,closed conduit.These water meters shall incorporate devices,which indicate the integrated volume. In the case where water meters having a value of Q>160m/h,the test schedule may make provisions for modification of the Reference Conditions,to meet individual test laboratory limitations,when testing specifically for endurance or for performance under Influence Quantities. Meters thus tested shall be marked so as to unambiguously indicate part compliance with this document. To augment this marking the meter manufacturer shall, in addition, be obliged to fully disclose the specific non compliance(s) due to the test laboratory limitations.

This International Standard establishes general principles regarding the procedure used in the construction and quality assessment of butt fusion joints incorporating fittings (ISO 8085-2) and pipes used in the construction of gas (ISO 4437) and water (ISO 4427) distribution systems made with equipment that complies with ISO 12176-1 and installed in accordance with ISO/TS 10839, relevant codes of practice, national regulations or industry guidance. Specifically, this International Standard specifies a number of proven butt fusion jointing procedures for pipes and fittings with a wall thickness up to and including 70 mm. This International Standard takes into consideration the materials and components used, the fusion jointing procedure and equipment and the quality assessment of the completed joint. It can be applied in conjunction with appropriate national regulations and standards. NOTE It is important that pipe or fitting manufacturers and equipment manufacturers be consulted when undertaking butt fusion jointing of pipes with a wall thickness greater than 70 mm.

This International Standard specifies the properties of the piping system and its components made from glassreinforced thermosetting plastics (GRP) based on unsaturated polyester resin (UP) for water supply, irrigation, drainage or sewerage systems with or without pressure. This International Standard is applicable to GRP-UP piping systems, with flexible joints, intended to be installed using jacking techniques. It specifies the characteristics of pipes made from GRP-UP, with or without aggregates or fillers and also specifies the test parameters for the test methods referred to in this International Standard. NOTE Pipes referred to in this International Standard are, because of their intended use, required to have a minimum nominal stiffness of at least SN 20000 (see 5.2.1). This International Standard is applicable to pipes and joints with a size range from DN100 to DN4000 which are intended to be used for the conveyance of water or sewage at temperatures up to 50 ℃, with or without pressure. It covers requirements to prove the design of the joint and specifies type test performance requirements for the joints as a function of the declared nominal pressure rating of the pipeline system and the required joint deflection capability of the system. GRP-fittings, used between pipe systems covered by this International Standard, shall be in accordance with ISO 10639 for water supply systems or ISO 10467 for drainage and sewerage systems, as applicable. In a pipe-work system, pipes of different nominal pressure and stiffness ratings may be used together.

This European Standard is applicable to the investigation and assessment of drain and sewer systems outside buildings. It is applicable to drain and sewer systems, which operate essentially under gravity, from the point where the wastewater leaves a building or roof drainage system, or enters a road gully, to the point where it is discharged into a treatment works or receiving water. Drains and sewers below buildings are included provided that they do not form part of the drainage system of the building. This part of the European Standard specifies a coding system for the description of the internal condition of drains, sewers, manholes and inspection chambers identified through visual inspection. Where appropriate, it can also be used for pressure and vacuum systems in accordance with the requirements of the employing authority. Visual inspection of drain and sewer systems can be carried out as part of the investigation in order to undertake the assessment. This part of the European Standard does not generally specify requirements for carrying out inspections.
