This International Standard does not apply for testing individual washing or drying functions. The object is to state and define the principal performance characteristics of household electric washer-dryers of interest to users and to describe standard methods for measuring these characteristics. NOTE Washer-dryers for communal use in blocks of flats or in launderettes are also included within the scope of this standard. It does not apply to washer-dryers for commercial laundries.
