AP2-alpha(TFAP2A)antibody
Cat.#: 3154-1
Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody
Clone ID: EPR2688(2)
Swiss Prot: P05549
Mol Weight: 48kDa
Size: 100ul
Description
AP2-alpha is a transcription factor that binds the consensus sequence 5'-GCCNNNGGC-3'. This protein functions as either a homodimer or as a heterodimer with similar family members. AP2-alpha activates some proteins while inhibiting others. Defects in AP2-alpha are a cause of branchiooculofacial syndrome (BOFS).
