Capadenoson (BAY 68-4986) is a new adenosine A1 receptor agonist. Studies showed that long-term therapy with Capadenoson improves phosphorylation and total protein level of PGC-1α in LV myocardium of HF dogs. Clinical trial found that in patients with stable angina Capadenoson lowers exercise HR at comparable maximum workload, which is associated with improved total exercise time and prolongation of time to ischaemia. |
