2018年11月16日，世界科技界将齐聚法国凡尔赛，对修订国际单位制（SI）的提案进行表决。如果提案被通过，国际单位制7个基本单位中的4个，即千克、安培、开尔文和摩尔将全部改由自然常数定义。这将是1875年《米制公约》签署以来，国际测量体系面临的最重大变革，对科技创新、产业发展影响深远。以下宣传片由美国国家标准与技术研究院（NIST）出品：
