INTRODUCTION The study described in this report was conducted in accordance with the standard operating procedures of International Research and Development Corporation (IRDC) and the protocol as approved by the Sponsor. Procedures pertinent to this study are described herein. The experimental design of the subject study was predicated on the results of a previously conducted rang-finding study (IRDC Study NO. 418-023). Briefly@ 20 male and 20 female rats of the same source and strain were evenly divided between one control and three treatment groups. Using methods similar to those described in section IV@ treated rats were exposed for six hours per day on five consecutive days. An exposure concentration of 25 mg/m3 was used for all three test materials. Pharmacotoxic signs and body weight were assessed. Survival was 100% in the range-finding study. No exposure related pharmacotoxic signs or body weight fluctuations were seen in the exposed groups. Based on these results@ the three test materials were each administered at 25 mg/m3.
