This standard specifies the method of classification and particular requirements for commercial refrigerated display cabinets. It is complementary to GSO. Four class of cabinets are specified, determined by one or more of the following temperatures . a) maximum temperature; b) minimum temperature; c) mean temperature. Decisions regarding the choice of the types of food for display in the cabinets are outside the scope of this international standard.
