This International Standard gives an illustrated nomenclature of equivalent terms for shuttles in English, French and Russian, and a method of designation used in conventional weaving looms according to the position (left, right or centre) of the shuttle eye. NOTE In addition to the terms and designations given in the three official ISO languages (English, French, and Russian), this International Standard gives, in an annex, the equivalent terms and designations in German; these have been included at the request of ISO Technical Committee TC 72 and are published under the responsibility of the member body for Germany (DIN). However, only the terms and designations given in the official languages can be considered as ISO terms and designations.
