This standard is concerned with single-speed polyphase induction motors of the squirrel cage or slip-ring types used for driving lifts and whose output rating is not less than 1 kW. NOTE: GSO 316/1994 “Air-Cooled Electric Motors” is quoted in this Gulf standard.
