This International Standard specifies a method for the determination of the hygroscopic moisture content in analytical samples of chromium ores, intended to be carried out simultaneously with the determination of other constituents of the same analytical sample so that the contents of the other constituents can be calculated on the basis of the absolutely dry ore. It should be read in conjunction with ISO 6629.
