What is ISO 2076 about?    ISO 2076 discusses textiles. A textile is a flexible material made by creating an interlocking bundle of  yarns  or threads , which are produced by  spinning  raw fibres  into long and twisted lengths. ISO 2076 defines the generic names used to designate the various categories of man-made fibres, based on the main polymer, currently manufactured on an industrial scale for textile and other purposes, together with the distinguishing attributes that characterize them.
