Applies to all extrusion blow moulding machines that melt (plasticize) plastic materials, including thermoplastic or rubber, to form a parison which is blown into the shape of a mold held in some form of a clamping press. The machines can be actuated either mechanically, electrically, hydraulically, pneumatically, or by a combination thereof.
