This standard specifies dimensional, functional and quality characteristics of vernier callipers reading to 0,1,0,05 and 0,02 mm with a maximum range of 2000 mm and vernier callipers with digital indication reading 0,01 mm. Methods for testing the accuracy of the instrument are given.
