- The standard specifies rules for the water-proofing of buildings which are intended to contain water, such as drinking water reservoirs, swimming pools etc. These rules differ from those which are applicable for the water-proofing against pressing water from the out-side according to DIN 18195 part 6 in case that plastic sheeting is used as the sealing material.
