The gaschromatographic procedure according to this draft standard covers the determination of the fuel dilution, as mass fraction in %, in used spark ignition and diesel engine oils. The sample is analysed according to DIN 51435 by means of a nonpolar gas chromatographic column separating largely by boiling point.
