This standard lays down requirements and testing for water heaters and water heating installations being used for drinking water and for service water. It refers to materials, calculation, protection against corrosion, hygienic requirements, heating, equipment and marking of the water heating installation.; When applying for the DIN testing and inspection mark in connection with a registration number, the fulfillment of these requirements is presupposed.
