- This Part of BS 3056 specifies the sizes of basic refractory bricks used in steel making. Bricks used in the construction of electric arc furnace roofs are excluded from this Part and are given in BS 3056 : Part 4. NOTE 1. The tolerances on the sizes are not specified in this British Standard, and may be the subject of agreement between the manufacturer and purchaser. NOTE 2. The titles of the publications referred to in this standard are given on the inside back cover.
