- This recommendation is applicable to contact assemblies of relays within the scope of the IEC. It covers basic considerations which are, in general, common to all types of relays covered by IEC Publication 255, Electrical Relays, but supplementary requirements may be necessitated by specific designs or application. It applies only to relays in a new condition.
