This standard gives general procedures and the action for the determination of wind loads for the design of structures, including chimneys, for a height up to 300 m. Further rules for the determination of wind loads for traffic and railroad bridges with spans up to 200 m as well as pedestrian bridges with spans up to 30 m are given. Moreover the determination of wind loads for execution situations of structures and for structures with a limited working live is described.
