This European Standard defines terms for steel products according to:
a)shape and dimensions;and
b)appearance and surface condition.
NOTE 1 Although the products are generally defined independently of their end uses or manufacturing processes,it bas sometimes been necessary to make reference to these criteria.
NOTE 2 All dimensions given in this European Standard are nominal.
