This Draft for Development specifies requirements for the chemical composition and identification of ingots and castings in three zinc-aluminium alloys, designated ZA8,ZA12 and ZA27. Methods for verifying that ingots and castings meet the requirements of this Draft for Development are also specified, together with methods for the selection and preparation of the samples.
