The hose assemblies are then filled with fluid no. 2 in accordance with table 8 and placed for 8 h in a
chamber of which the temperature is held at (- 55 i 2) OC then submitted 10 times to nominal pressure at a
temperature of (- 55 f 2) O C , and at least 5 min shall elapse between each pressure application. Then fluid
at a temperature of (230 f 5) OC is circulated through the hose assemblies. Within 15 s after introduction of
the hot fluid, the pressure is increased to the proof pressure PE which is 2 times PN and held for a minimum
of 2 min. The hose assemblies shall not show any evidence of leakage.
