This specification defines the process applicable to the lubrication of threaded bolts, nuts, lock bolt pins and
collars with cetyl alcohol. It defines the product application methods and the relevant quality assurance
requirements for the lubrication of the commonly used fastener materials: Aluminium alloys, alloy steels,
stainless steels, titanium alloys and nickel base alloys.
