This standard is applied to general illumination and also to sodium vapour lamps (hereinafter referred to "lamp"), which has glass tube unified with lighting tube, but not to high pressure sodium vapour lamps with start circuit embedded.

- High pressure sodium vapour Lamps with E26 or E39 type Cap, or low pressure sodium vapour lamps with BY 22D type cap.
