These requirements do not cover equipment rated more than 600 V; nor do they cover products involving universal motors rated more than 250 V. These requirements also cover textile equipment for use in ordinary locations but do not cover equipment intended for use in hazardous locations such as certain textile processing equipment, and yarn handling equipment.
