This Recommendation describes the namespace organization for the Cable industry enterprise MIB. It defines Cable Definition MIB modules whose purpose is to centrallyallocate Object Identifiers (OIDs) for cable and, as such, to provide the private layout of the cable industry Object Identifier structure.
