This code gives recommendation on the design, construction, installation and maintenance of
temporary housing quarters on construction sites. It shall be limited to the construction of temporary
housing quarters within the boundary of construction sites, including temporary housing quarters in the
uncompleted buildings This code does not give exemption from statutory requirements in
government by-laws or from relevant regulations of government departments
