This Standard covers fire and life safety criteria for recreational park trailers considered necessary to provide a reasonable level of protection from loss of life from fire and explosion. It reflects situations and the state of the art prevalent at the time the Standard was issued. This Standard is not intended as a design specification or an instruction manual. Much of the material in this Standard has been taken from, or is based on, nationally recognized standards for fire and life safety.
