The ITU Radiocommunication Assembly considering a)that the Radiocommunication Bureau (BR), in carrying out its duties under Articles 9 and 11 of the Radio Regulations (RR), is required to calculate potential interference between networks of all types in the satellite services and to compare the results of such calculations with appropriate criteria;b)that the BR has requested guidance from Study Group 8 on the methods to be employed for the calculation of the interference within the mobile-satellite service (MSS), with the mobile service and on the criteria to be used.
